    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets South Korean Ambassador Ahead of Mission's Conclusion in Iraq

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Iraq, H.E. Choi Sung-soo, as his tenure in Iraq nears its conclusion. Sayyid Al-Hakeem extended his best wishes to the ambassador in his future endeavors and to his successor in representing South Korea in Iraq.
    During the meeting, Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and South Korea to serve the interests of both nations across various fields. The discussion also touched on the positive developments in cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries.
    H.E. highlighted Iraq’s current state of political, social, and security stability, attributing it to the sacrifices made by the Iraqi people from all backgrounds. H.E. stressed the need to further consolidate this stability and work towards making it sustainable for the benefit of Iraq and its citizens.
    For his part, Ambassador Choi Sung-soo expressed his appreciation for Sayyid Al-Hakeem’s efforts in fostering bilateral relations, reaffirming South Korea’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors.
