    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Abu Al-Gheit, Discusses Strengthening Arab’s Position Amid Challenges

    At the Arab League headquarters, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with His Excellency Ahmed Abu Al-Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League. His Eminence expressed deep appreciation for the Arab League’s historic and pivotal role, reaffirming commitment to supporting its efforts in strengthening Arab cooperation, especially in light of the challenges facing the region and the world.
    H.E. discussed with the Secretary-General the latest developments in Iraq, highlighting the efforts of Prime Minister Al-Sudani’s government in reconstruction and its dedicated approach to various regional issues, reflecting Iraq’s commitment to regional stability.
    From the headquarters of the Arab League, His Eminence reaffirmed keen interest in ensuring the success of the upcoming Baghdad Summit, stressing the need for outcomes that foster Arab unity and bring perspectives closer through open and serious dialogue. H.E. emphasized that these efforts must align with the fast-changing global landscape and secure a prominent role for Arab nations in shaping international policies.
    On regional affairs, H.E. reiterated the importance of Syria’s stability and the need to activate an inclusive political process that represents all segments of Syrian society. H.E. also underscored the necessity of supporting the Lebanese state and its institutions, preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty, and shielding it from external conflicts. Additionally, H.E. affirmed support for stability in Sudan, Libya, and Yemen, expressing hope for peace and security for their people.
