    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Egyptian Diplomats, Elites: Emphasizes Support for Palestine, Iraq’s Stability, Arab Cooperation

    As part of H.E.'s visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Egyptian and Arab diplomats and elites at the "House of Iraqis" in Cairo. The gathering was hosted by His Excellency Dr. Qahtan Al-Janabi, Iraq’s Ambassador to Egypt, and featured a distinguished dialogue on key regional and Arab issues.
    Opening the discussion, His Eminence reaffirmed Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian cause, commending its steadfast stance in defending Palestinian rights. H.E. firmly rejected any attempts to displace the Palestinian people or undermine their cause under any pretext, reiterating Iraq’s commitment to supporting Gaza’s reconstruction while upholding the Palestinian people’s rights to their land.
    Regarding Iraq, H.E. underscored the necessity of maintaining political stability and supporting the Iraqi government's reconstruction efforts. H.E. praised the government’s progress in improving services and infrastructure and reaffirmed Iraq’s support for its positions on various regional and international political matters. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the importance of ensuring the success of the upcoming Arab League Summit, set to be held in Baghdad in the coming months.
    On regional affairs, H.E. addressed developments in Syria, stressing Iraq’s commitment to Syria’s stability and rejecting external interventions. H.E. called for comprehensive political solutions that include all segments of Syrian society, ensuring long-term stability and prosperity.
    Concluding the discussion, H.E. emphasized the need for greater Arab unity and for shielding the region from conflicts. H.E. highlighted the importance of resolving Arab disputes through dialogue, fostering common ground, and managing differences wisely. H.E. also stressed that the ongoing transformations in the region necessitate a firm commitment to Arab and Islamic principles while working towards deeper Arab integration to secure stability and prosperity for the region’s nations.
