Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Iraqi Sabean Mandean Head of Community
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with Sheikh Sattar Jabar Al-Hilu, the head of the Mandaean Sabian community in Iraq, to discuss matters concerning the community, and commended the Sabian presence in Iraq and its valuable contribution to the country’s cultural heritage.
His Eminence reiterated the need for effective diversity management, and emphasized the importance of fostering positive coexistence among all components. H.E. noted that Iraq is experiencing an unprecedented level of stability across security, political, and social spheres. H.E. stressed the importance of preserving this stability and transforming it into a lasting one, calling on all parties to take responsibility in ensuring its continuity.
