Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets with Northern Basra Martyrs' Families, Praises Sacrifices
During a visit to northern Basra, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with several families of martyrs at the Hussainiya (Mosque) of the late Sheikh Abu Hajar Al-Ruwaymi. H.E. emphasized that martyrdom is a source of honor and pride for the martyr's family, tribe, and province.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted that the family of Imam Sayyid Mohsen Al-Hakeem (may Allah bless his soul) was among those who sacrificed many martyrs, stressing that these sacrifices laid the foundation for the stability and development Iraq enjoys today.
H.E. also praised the progress and development witnessed in Basra, calling for greater attention to the northern cities of the province to achieve urban growth, transforming them into symbols of reconstruction and development, just as they were symbols of martyrdom and sacrifice.
