Sayyid Al-Hakeem Welcomes Participants at the Commencing of the Third Future Horizons Conference for Followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT)

During the opening session of the Third Future Horizons Conference for Followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, welcomed the esteemed participants, including scholars, religious leaders, and intellectuals from around the world. In his speech, Sayyid Al-Hakeem congratulated the attendees on the arrival of the blessed month of Sha’ban and the auspicious births of the Imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them). H.E. emphasized that the conference is taking place amidst sensitive regional and international developments, underscoring the significant role required from the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt in addressing these challenges.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted that Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) established a community characterized by principles and rationality. H.E. explained that while this community is diverse in intellectual and national affiliations, it is united in creed, jurisprudence, and rituals. H.E. called for unity based on common principles while respecting intellectual differences.
H.E. highlighted the importance of confronting cultural invasion and advancing the Ahl Al-Bayt community through knowledge and education. Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed that this community should be influential and contributive in political, social, cultural, and economic fields. H.E. also acknowledged the challenges the community may face, reaffirming that Iraq has been and will remain a central pillar in this journey from the time of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) until the emergence of Al-Qa’im from the progeny of Muhammad (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
Sayyid Al-Hakeem clarified that the Future Horizons Conference for Followers of Ahl Al-Bayt is not in competition with other efforts but works in complete harmony with all initiatives aimed at benefiting the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt. H.E. emphasized that the conference seeks to provide a platform for communication and dialogue among followers to serve the community's interests and strengthen unity.
In concluding his speech, H.E. stressed that the priorities of the community include defending the oppressed, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, which H.E. described as a humanitarian issue as much as an Islamic one. H.E. also touched on Iraq's political and security recovery, highlighting an unprecedented phase of stability achieved through the collective efforts of all Iraqi communities.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem concluded by wishing success for the conference and all participants in their endeavors to serve the righteous community of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
