Sayyid Al-Hakeem Reaffirms Iraq’s Support for the Palestinian Cause and Commends Palestinian People’s Resilience
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received today in his office Mr. Jibril Rajoub, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement and Chairman of the Palestinian Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The meeting focused on regional developments, during which H.E. reiterated Iraq’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and emphasized the importance of continued Arab and international backing to end the suffering of the Palestinian people.
H.E. praised the stance of the revered religious authority, the Iraqi government, and its institutions in utilizing international platforms and meetings to highlight the Palestinian people's plight and expose the genocide committed by the israeli entity. H.E. also commended the Iraqi people's unwavering solidarity with Palestine, considering it a reflection of the deep historical ties between the Iraqi and Palestinian nations.
H.E. lauded the extraordinary resilience of the Palestinian people, whose steadfastness has astonished the world as they remain committed to their land and just cause. H.E. called for Palestinian unity, the reconstruction of cities in Gaza and the West Bank, and the return of displaced individuals to their homes.
Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming Arab Summit, H.E. stressed that the Palestinian cause must remain a top priority, noting that Middle East stability begins with justice for Palestine. H.E. expressed hope that Arab and international efforts would contribute to achieving justice for the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering.
