    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Visits Sulaymaniyah University, affirms Universities’ role importance in Iraq’s Recovery, Reconstruction

    As part of his tour in Sulaymaniyah Province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited Sulaymaniyah University, where he met with the university president and deans of its colleges. His Eminence emphasized his commitment to visiting universities across Iraq, praising the university’s expansion in faculties and specializations and acknowledging its vital role in Iraq’s rebuilding and development efforts.
    During the meeting, H.E. reflected on the political, security, and social challenges Iraq has faced, noting that the country has overcome these obstacles through divine providence and the determination of its people.
    H.E. highlighted Iraq’s significant strides in reconstruction and development, emphasizing that universities play a central role in this critical phase, particularly in advancing national recovery. H.E. urged that master’s theses and doctoral dissertations focus on Arab-Kurdish relations and Iraq’s diversity to promote unity and integration. Additionally, H.E. stressed the importance of addressing the nation’s challenges by balancing theoretical and practical approaches across various sectors.
    H.E. concluded that universities worldwide align research outputs with their needs and priorities. H.E. emphasized the importance of Iraq utilizing academic research to develop practical solutions to its pressing issues.
