Sayyid Al-Hakeem Visits Kakayi Brotherhood Center in Halabja, Stresses National Unity, Cooperation Among Iraq’s Components
During a visit to the Kakayi Brotherhood Center in Halabja, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, expressed his profound respect for this honorable community. His Eminence praised the Kakayis for their moral and spiritual values, as well as their contributions to personal and societal development. H.E. emphasized that Iraqis, despite their diverse components, ethnicities, and religions, belong to one homeland. H.E. called for enhanced cooperation, integration, and mutual respect within the framework of a united Iraqi nation.
Reflecting on the shared history with the Kurdish brothers, H.E. noted that the enduring connection with the people of Kurdistan continues the legacy of past leaders. H.E. stressed that national unity and strengthening internal solidarity are essential for Iraq to withstand potential challenges.
H.E. highlighted Halabja as a significant symbol for all Iraqis, particularly in light of the heinous crime suffered by its people. H.E. underscored that the best way to honor Halabja is to recognize it as a new Iraqi governorate, which would bring increased economic opportunities, job creation, and broader political representation in national decision-making.
