During a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, His Excellency Anil Bora Inan, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, emphasized Iraq’s unwavering commitment to deepening bilateral relations between the two nations and their friendly peoples. His Eminence underscored the importance of bolstering cooperation across political and economic sectors to advance mutual interests.
Addressing regional developments, H.E. expressed Iraq’s respect for the choices of the Syrian people, affirming their right to a dignified and prosperous life following years of hardship. H.E. voiced hope for the formation of an inclusive government in Syria that reflects the aspirations of all its communities, contributing to the country’s stability and growth.
H.E. also raised concerns about the expansion of Israeli influence in Syrian territories, urging the international community to take responsibility for addressing this challenge.
