Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Popular Mobilization Forces are National Defense Pillar
During his visit to Wasit Province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters in the province. His Eminence met with commanders and several fighters, emphasizing that the ceasefire decision in Lebanon marks a victory for the resistance after sixty days of conflict. H.E. also congratulated them on the anniversary of the PMF Law's enactment, recalling the challenging circumstances and pressures faced during its passage.
H.E. described the Popular Mobilization Forces as a fundamental pillar of the national defense system, stressing that preserving it is a patriotic duty. H.E. highlighted Wasit’s identity as the “Province of Martyrs,” calling for the care and support of the families of martyrs and fighters. H.E. affirmed that the path of jihad embodies honor and dignity for Islam and Muslims.
