Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Iraqi Islamic Party Secretary-General
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Dr. Rasheed Al-Azzawi, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Islamic Party. They exchanged views on the latest political developments in Iraq and the region. His Eminence commended the progress achieved at the political, social, and security levels, emphasizing the importance of preserving and strengthening stability and transforming it into lasting peace.
H.E. stressed the urgent need to halt the ongoing wars in Gaza and Lebanon, calling on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities toward the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples. H.E. also praised Iraq's address at the recent Islamic Summit Conference.
