With Coordination Framework leaders present, Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives Masoud Barzani
With the attendance of the Prime Minister and leaders of the Coordination Framework, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, welcomed Masoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, along with his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed political and security developments in Iraq, the region, and the world. They emphasized the importance of maintaining a unified national stance on issues affecting Iraq's interests and continuing maximum efforts to resolve the election of the Speaker of the House of Parliament and assisting the concerned political powers in this matter.
The attendees agreed on the importance of ending the international coalition's mission and transforming the relationship into bilateral ones based on mutual respect and shared interests. They also expressed their desire to address and resolve outstanding issues between the federal government and the regional government according to the law and constitution.
