Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq experiences great security situation, most displaced people, social harmony returns

In the guesthouse of Al-Agabat tribe, led by Sheikh Mushtaq Al-Sager, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with several sheiks and dignitaries from the holy province of Karbala. H.E. praised the historic relationships with the Iraqi tribes, noting that Iraq has experienced internal political crises, to the extent that some political leaders exchanged accusations and messages through the media. It was difficult to bring the political rivals together on common ground. However, Iraq has moved past this stage, and the Coalition for State Administration now stands as a testament to political maturity, communication, and managing differences, making such occurrences routine.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized that political disagreements were one of the causes of terrorism. H.E. noted that Iraq is currently enjoying a largely good security situation with the return of most displaced people and the restoration of social harmony. H.E. highlighted a positive regional and international perspective on Iraq's situation, attributing this to a general acceptance of Iraq's realities and the nature of its balances. H.E. also pointed out that Iraq has suffered from media agendas that targeted its experience and were biased toward certain parties.
H.E. explained that terrorism received political support and cover, and H.E. reminded everyone of those circumstances to appreciate the value of the achievements and the current situation. H.E. added that the province of Karbala is on the right track, poised to achieve the aspirations of its people.
