Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Masrour Barzani, emphasizes Baghdad-Erbil communication importance
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received Mr. Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government. During their meeting, they discussed recent political developments and the relationship between the central government and the Kurdistan region, stressing the importance of maintaining communication between Baghdad and Erbil and the role of dialogue in resolving outstanding issues.
His Eminence also commended the procedural steps taken by the federal and regional governments, especially regarding the localization of salaries, and underscored the necessity of protecting the rights of all citizens everywhere.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem further emphasized the importance of viewing rights and duties as interconnected; what is a right for one is a duty for another. Regarding the development road, H.E. highlighted it as a strategic project that connects regional interests and links Eastern trade with the West, underscoring its importance in uniting Iraqi interests through the cities along its route.
