Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauds Turkish agreements implementation within specific time frames
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, His Excellency Ali Rıza GÜNEY. His Eminence expressed gratitude for His Excellency’s efforts during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors.
H.E. stressed the importance of implementing the agreements between our two countries according to defined schedules and timelines. Additionally, H.E. highlighted the significance of the Development Road and Turkey's role in it, seeing it as a vital link between East and West and a key corridor for international trade.
H.E. also emphasized the importance of Iraq's openness to its regional and international environment and underscored the need to strengthen relations with neighboring Turkey due to the countries’ shared interests.
Regarding Gaza, H.E. voiced His dismay at the international community's silence on the atrocities committed against Palestinians, especially in the besieged Gaza Strip, and called for an immediate ceasefire, the delivery of aid, assistance to displaced persons, and the reconstruction of the city.
