Sayyid Al-Hakeem: religious authority extinguishes discord flames when it expresses the honorable Sunni component “Anfusna”
In the district of Al-Khidr in the Samawah Governorate, at the guest place of Sheikh Aziz Marwi Al-Bu Ajada, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a gathering of sheiks and dignitaries from the Al-Jawaber tribe and the clans of Muthanna. H.E. emphasized that the challenges have evolved; what was once primarily security, political, and societal has now shifted towards service-oriented challenges. H.E. noted that the challenges of the past, if faced by other nations, could have led to their downfall, underscoring the strength of the Iraqi character in confronting these challenges in a relatively short period.
H.E. explained that the religious authority extinguished the flames of discord when it expressed the honorable Sunni component within us, in addition to its stance in the defensive jihad fatwa and counterterrorism. The religious authority is a divine blessing, envied by some, H.E. clarified, stating that Iraq now possesses a mature political experience. Once the recipient of advice in Arab and Islamic conferences, it now offers solutions and bridges viewpoints among the region's factions.
H.E. pointed to the significant rise in reconstruction and development currently underway and in the coming years, expressing confidence in success regarding services and water management after agreements with the Turkish side. H.E. highlighted the agricultural and industrial opportunities in Muthanna, urging the spread of positivity and optimism, as speaking positively is a form of gratitude to Allah.
H.E. emphasized that the coordination framework is a success story in managing differences, unifying positions, and optimally expressing the status and role of the largest component in the country, reiterating his support for Muthanna in completing the process of construction and reconstruction.
