Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq’s stability reflects positively on world, region
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Kazem Al Sadiq, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad on 23/3/2024, and discussed the latest developments in the political landscape in Iraq and the region and the bilateral ties between the two neighboring countries.
His Eminence stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and investing in their common interests. H.E. also highlighted the significance of investing the days of the blessed month of Ramadan in acts of worship and devotion and exchanging visits, especially to the holy religious sites between the two countries.
H.E. illustrated the importance of the current stability in Iraq and its positive impact on the region, and called for strengthening this stability and turning it into a permanent state.
Regarding the crisis in Gaza, H.E. emphasized the need for a ceasefire, providing aid to the displaced, and rebuilding the city. Moreover, H.E. held the international community responsible for the massacres committed against innocent people and stated that silence regarding these atrocities implicitly approves the actions of the Israeli entity to commit its crimes.
