Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives DA Secretary of State, affirms bilateral ties to international coalition
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, convened with Ms. Victoria Taylor, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, to discuss the evolving relationship between Baghdad and Washington. Emphasizing the importance of preserving current stability and working towards long-term stability, His Eminence underscored how stability is essential for advancing the Iraqi economy in collaboration with our partners.
Additionally, H.E. reaffirmed backing Al-Sudani’s government initiatives in development, project implementation, and service provision and highlighted how the recent elections have bolstered democratic processes and respect for electoral mechanisms.
Moreover, H.E. acknowledged the sacrifices made by Iraqis in collaboration with their allies in the fight against terrorism, and reiterated the necessity of concluding the international coalition's efforts against ISIS terrorism and transitioning to bilateral relations beneficial to both sides.
H.E. also urged for putting an end to the war in Gaza, calling for halting genocide, facilitating the return of displaced individuals, reconstructing the city, and compensating those adversely affected.
