Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses regional, Iraqi political landscape, to enhance state’s stability with Republic’s President
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the President of the Republic on 30/10/2023, and discussed the evolving political landscape in Iraq and the region and strategies for preserving the attained stability and ensuring its permanence.
His Eminence reiterated unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and joined His Excellency in urging the international community to bear its responsibilities in halting the ongoing bloodshed, facilitating immediate humanitarian aid access, and putting an end to double standards.
Furthermore, H.E. underscored the imperative of holding the upcoming elections as scheduled, recognizing their pivotal role in reinstating decentralization within the political system and equitably distributing resources among cities. H.E. advocated a shift towards competitive campaigning grounded in service-oriented programs, steering away from divisive rhetoric. H.E. emphasized the pivotal role of dialogue in resolving longstanding disputes between the central government and regional authorities, emphasizing that the constitution considers all citizens' interests within the framework of the national welfare.
