Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasizes differences management to ensure everyone's interests
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with Sheikh Sabah Al-Kheilani, on 9/10/2023, reminiscing about the enduring journey they shared in confronting dictatorship and combating terrorism. H.E. cited some of the moments when Arabs and Kurds shared bread, provisions, tears, blood, and tragedies.
H.E. explained that the Iraqi experience faced challenges in the formation of the state and its recovery from the dictatorial regime. H.E. also pointed out that having differences in viewpoints is natural in a democratic system that adheres to the law and the constitution, emphasizing the need to manage these differences to protect the rights and interests of everyone.
H.E. affirmed that Arabs and Kurds share the challenges that the country is going through, and we have no choice but to stand together. H.E. mentioned that Iraq is experiencing an unprecedented level of stability in political, social, and security matters, and called on everyone to take responsibility for preserving what has been achieved and building upon it to achieve prosperity and lasting stability for our people.
