Sayyid Al-Hakeem congratulates Mr. Bafel Talabani over winning PUK’s President elections
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, congratulated Mr. Bafel Talabani on his re-election as the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan during the fifth party conference on 2/10/2023. His Eminence congratulated the Union on the success of their recent conference, expressing his confidence that this national entity will continue with the same moderate approach that the late leader Mam Jalal Talabani “may he rest in peace” had set, and work with the other partners in the political process with a national spirit to safeguard the Iraqi democratic experience and preserve the political system. H.E. expressed his hope that this occasion will be a good omen for resolving the outstanding issues between the central and regional governments, in the service of the Iraqi people with all their components and spectra.
