Sayyid Al-Hakeem stresses engineers’ role to plan, design, implement

During his meeting with the head of the Engineers Syndicate Zulfikar Al-Magsusi and the heads of the Syndicate’s branches in the provinces of the Iraqi Union of Engineers, His Eminence stated that Iraq has made strides on the path of security, political and social stability and that the State Running Coalition represents a governing coalition with a national and cross-component title.
H.E. stressed the role of the engineer in the projects approved by the budget in its service and development side, calling for reducing the phenomenon of the rentier economy and activating productive sectors such as agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and technology, and the need to pay attention to the private sector to accommodate the largest possible number of disabled engineers, stressing that the current year is considered a year of engineering effort.
His Eminence called for reforming the Engineering House represented by the Syndicate and amending the laws related to engineers, and the need for this segment to produce representatives from them in legislative institutions, whether they are Provincial Councils or the House of Parliaments.
