Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria
As part of his visit to the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and the Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church on 29/5/2023, stressing that in Iraq we care and take care of all the Sons of the Christian component, including our Coptic partners, with whom we have a good relationship and other Christian Brothers in the country, we visit churches and communicate with them on Christmas and share their masses to express our interest and care.
His Eminence pointed out that during our visits to the Iraqi governorates, we are keen to communicate with the sons of the Christian component and visit their churches to inform them of interest and care, as we are sons of one homeland.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also stressed that Egypt is the Arabs' big sister and our eyes are on it to strengthen integration with Iraq, recalling the common ties between the two brotherly countries in terms of cultural depth, great diversity, and the great roles played by the two countries in the Arab world and regional and international trajectories.
