Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Fallujah: A Strong State Requires a Resilient Society, and Diversity Is a Source of Strength, Not Weakness

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited the guesthouse of the Jumaila Tribe in Fallujah District, Anbar Province—the guesthouse of the late Sheikh Mustafa Al-Arsan Al-Jumaili—where H.E. met with a group of tribal sheiks, dignitaries from the Jumaila tribe, and residents of Fallujah.
In his remarks, Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized that such visits are social in nature, aimed at reinforcing national unity and maintaining direct engagement with the Iraqi people. H.E. stressed the importance of managing Iraq’s diversity as a strength rather than a vulnerability, adding that the country's various social components serve as natural bridges linking Iraq to the region and the broader international community—enhancing Iraq’s influence beyond its borders.
H.E. highlighted the need to transform challenges into opportunities and noted that Iraq has developed strong immunity against extremism. While acknowledging the value of remembering the past, H.E. cautioned against being consumed by it, stating that the past should serve as a foundation upon which the present and future are built.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem expressed satisfaction with the development taking place across Iraqi cities, including Fallujah, citing infrastructure projects and sustained security as signs of progress. H.E. affirmed that peaceful coexistence is the natural state of Iraq and that a strong state can only be built upon a cohesive society that understands the value of stability and shared living.
H.E. reiterated that the nation-building project is still ongoing, but the achievements so far represent significant progress compared to previous years. H.E. called for greater emphasis on the positive aspects of Iraq’s reality and encouraged efforts to reinforce a hopeful and constructive national image.
Concluding the gathering, Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the critical nature of the upcoming elections in shaping a path toward long-term stability. H.E. urged citizens to participate widely and responsibly, update their biometric voter cards, and ensure the selection of competent representatives who can truly reflect the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
