Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets with KUI’s Secretary-General, discusses political updates
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Mr. Salahuldeen Mohammed Bahaauldeen, along with several leaders of the Islamic Union on 4/12/2023, and discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the nature of upcoming dues. Additionally, His Eminence explored the relationship between the federal government and the regional government, emphasizing the need to prioritize public interest and adhere to the principles of rights and duties.
In light of regional developments, Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated his call to the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding the genocidal war perpetrated by the Israeli entity against civilians in Gaza. H.E. emphasized the imperative of standing up for the forsaken human values in Gaza, affirming that the world experiences a moral collapse when it remains silent in the face of the killing and terrorizing of children and women, depriving them of the most basic necessities of life.
