Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Preserving Security, Political, Social Achievements Requires National Position Unity
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in Erbil Governorate and met with its Consulate-General, Mr. Salahaddin Mohammed Baha Eddin, and the union's senior staff, recalling the shared history and pivotal milestones that contributed to confronting dictatorship and building Iraq's democratic experience, and commending all the efforts that contributed to Iraq's overcoming of its security, political, and social crises.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem considered the economic challenge the most significant challenge facing Iraq at the current stage, noting that this crisis stems from Iraq's suffering as a result of the events of the region and the decline in oil export and production rates, calling for understanding the crisis and helping the government overcome it through national cohesion and unity, and stressing the necessity of ending the current crisis in the region and restoring stability.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted the importance of proceeding with the anti-corruption campaign and restoring citizens' trust in state institutions, pointing to the targeting of major files and the recovery of public funds, and also reiterated his call for dialogue and understanding to confine weapons to the state according to an Iraqi timeline and Iraqi mechanisms and tools, commending all the efforts that contributed to confronting the ISIS terrorist organization and restoring the state.
