Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq Lives Grand Developmental State
From the Christian Evangelical Alliance Church, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, renewed his blessings on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon Him, our Prophet, and His family) and stated that divine religions belong to Allah, and we belong to Iraq, are united under a shared national identity that brings us all together.
His Eminence stressed in his statement: “Our diversity under the flag of Iraq is a source of strength and blessing, collectively shaping the Iraqi nation. Iraq’s true power lies in its unity and rich diversity”. “Terrorism has targeted all segments of Iraqi society, including Christians, compounding political and social challenges. However, Iraq has endured and moved past these hardships.” His Eminence added.
H.E. said: “Iraq is now witnessing a significant phase of development, which requires building on positive achievements to create an independent, stable, and thriving nation. This can be realized by respecting individual identities within the broader framework of national unity. Our presence in churches reflects the deep bonds among Iraqis. The Christian community is not measured by its numbers but by its invaluable contributions and its role in enriching Iraqi society.”
In H.E.'s Closing remarks, H.E. renewed his call to our Christian brothers and sisters to return to their homeland and actively participate in rebuilding Iraq. H.E. also expressed solidarity with the peoples of Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria, praying for their security, prosperity, and relief from suffering.
