Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Iraq, regional Political Developments with Russian Ambassador
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, His Excellency Elbrus Kutrashev, to discuss political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the relationship between Baghdad and Moscow. His Eminence stressed the need to help transform Iraq's current stability into lasting peace. Additionally, H.E. highlighted the importance of Iraq's role in facilitating dialogue between conflicting parties in the region. H.E. stressed that Iraq should engage with regional and global developments according to its vision and interests.
Moreover, H.E. emphasized the need to end the war in Gaza, facilitate the return of displaced individuals, and rebuild the city. H.E. noted that ensuring regional stability and preventing further escalation requires an end to the unjust war against the defenseless population by the Israeli war machine.
