Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Al-Sudani, Praises Operation "Lion's Leap" Results
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, and discussed with him the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the upcoming challenges. His Eminence commended the recent military operation, "Lion's Leap," which successfully eliminated numerous leaders of the terrorist group ISIS.
H.E. also emphasized the importance of taking all necessary measures to combat corruption, pursue the corrupt, and recover stolen funds. Additionally, H.E. stressed the need to respect the judiciary and its outcomes, considering it the cornerstone of Iraq's political framework.
During the meeting, the importance of strategic solutions to diversify income sources and move away from the rentier state model was highlighted. Regarding the developments in Gaza, H.E. called for an immediate halt to the war and urged saving the Palestinian people from the indiscriminate violence of the Israeli war machine, which spares neither children nor adults, men nor women.
