Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, discusses country’s political landscape, and economy.
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the State National Powers’ Alliance, received His Sovereignty from Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, Head of the Leadership Council of the National State Powers Alliance, and head of the Victory Coalition, and discussed the latest political and economic developments in the country, as well as the current stability in the political, social, and security spheres. His Eminence highlighted the importance of preserving and strengthening this stability to transform it into a permanent one.
H.E. underscored the need to protect the rights of all, uphold the Constitution, and use dialogue to resolve disputes and differing viewpoints. H.E. also stressed the importance of respecting the judiciary and its decisions and reiterated support for the government's service and development initiatives.
Regarding the Gaza file, H.E. emphasized the urgency of ending the war. Moreover, H.E. renewed the call for the international community to take all available measures to deter the israeli entity from its continued aggression against the Palestinian people and neighboring countries.
