    Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi the bilateral ties, Gaza situation, ways to halt war

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, held a meeting with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. They discussed the relations between Baghdad and Cairo, as well as the close ties between the two fraternal nations. The discussions also touched upon the evolving political landscape in the region, particularly amidst the Gaza crisis, which has had wide-reaching effects. His Eminence commended Egypt's efforts in working towards ending the conflict, providing aid to the displaced, and addressing critical conditions in Gaza.
    His Eminence stressed to President Sisi the vital importance of ending the war in Gaza as a foundational step to contain the conflict and prevent its escalation throughout the region. Sayyid Al-Hakeem called on the international community to take practical steps rather than relying solely on condemnation.
    Addressing President Sisi, Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted the significance of the recent local elections in Iraq, emphasizing that they are crucial for reinstating and preserving decentralization in the country. His Eminence pointed out that the success of the elections and the formation of local governments aligning with the government's service-oriented direction were influenced by the level of public satisfaction.
    Reviewing the government's achievements, His Eminence stated that Prime Minister Al-Sudani's administration is dedicated to providing services based on a well-considered vision at all levels. His Eminence encouraged everyone to seize the opportunities presented by Iraq in the service and developmental sectors. His Eminence also underscored that Iraq has moved beyond political, social, and security challenges, with the current focus being on service-oriented challenges aimed at rebuilding citizens' trust in their democratic political system. Additionally, His Eminence expressed admiration for Egypt's urban development and extended wishes for continued success, prosperity, and well-being to the sisterly nation of Egypt.
