Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauds Russia’s stance supporting just world and regional causes
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad, His Excellency Elbrus Kutrashev, and commended Russia's stances in international forums that support just causes in both the region and the world. During the meeting, His Eminence discussed political developments in Iraq and the surrounding region, along with discussions on ways to strengthen the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Moscow. H.E. reiterated the significance of resolving the crisis in Gaza, underscoring that putting an end to hostilities, establishing a ceasefire, facilitating the return of refugees, and reconstructing the city are crucial prerequisites for reinstating stability in the region and preventing further escalation.
Furthermore, H.E. drew attention to the pivotal role played by provincial councils in enhancing internal stability. H.E. stressed the importance of empowering individuals with competence, integrity, and effective governance. Additionally, H.E. called for the attraction of foreign investments to capitalize on promising opportunities in Iraq following the achievement of political, social, and security stability.
